    ٥٩ - إبراهيم بن يعقوب بن أبى نصر (¬٤) ابن أبى النصر (¬٤) بن مدوسة، الكشانىّ، الواعظ (¬**) بضم الكاف (¬٥)، والشين المعجمة، فى آخرها النون: بلدة من بلادالصّغد، يقال لها الكشانية (¬١). سكن سمرقند. كان فقيها فاضلا، عارفا بمذهب أبى حنيفة، وروايته، مفسّرا، واعظا، فقيها، حسن السّيرة. تولّى الخطابة بسمرقند نيابة عن محمود بن أحمد السّاغرجىّ (¬٢) الملقّب شيخ الإسلام، بعد أن خرج (¬٣) منها. سمع بالكشانية أباه، وبسمرقند أبا إبراهيم إسحاق بن محمد الخطيب النّوحىّ. وولد فى عشر ذى القعدة، سنة ثمان وسبعين وأربعمائة. وتوفّى بسمرقند، سنة ثلاث وخمسين وخمسمائة. ذكره السّمعانىّ فى «مشيخته». ***
