أبو شَيْبَة القَاصُّ غَزَا بلاد الرُّوم، واجْتازَ في غَزَاتهِ بحَلَب، أو ببَعْضِ عَمَلها، وكان مع مَكْحُول وعبد اللَّه بن زَيْد، رَوَى عنهُ عليّ بن أبي حَملة، وقد ذَكَرْنا عنه حِكايَةً في تَرْجَمَةِ مَكْحُول (¬١).
