    أحمدُ بن عبد الله بن صالح عبْدِ الله بن صالح بن عليّ بن عَبْد الله بن العبَّاس، أبو جَعْفَر الهاشِميُّ الصَّالِحِيُّ من أهل حَلَبَ، وَجَدْتُ ذِكُرَهُ في جُزءٍ وَقَعَ إليَّ بخَطِّ القَاضِي أبي طَاهِرصالح بن جَعْفَر الهاشِميّ، يَتَضَمَّن نَسَب بني صَالح بن عليّ (¬١)، قال: وكان - يعني أحْمَد بن عبد اللهِ بن صالح - سَيِّد وَلد عبد الله بن صالح في أيَّامهِ، وجَلِيْلهم الّذي يَقُتَدُون برأيهِ، ويَرْجعُون إلى أَمْره.
