    ٥٣٠ - محمد (¬٢) بن عبد الله بن دينار النيسابوري الزاهد كان يصوم النهار، ويقوم الليل، ويصبر على الفقر، ولا يأكل إلا من كسب يده، ويتصدق بما فضل من قوته، ما رأيت في مشايخ أصحاب أبي حنيفة أعبد منه. وكان يحج في كل عشر سنين، ويغزو في كل ثلاث سنين. وكان عارفا بمذهب أبي حنيفة، ولا يرغب في الفتوى والرياسة، وإنما كان عمله الصلاة، وقراءة القرآن. مات منصرفه من الحج ببغداد سنة ثمان وثلاثين وثلاث مئة ودفن بمقبرة خيزران بقرب أبي حنيفة.
