    ٥٢٣ - محمد (¬٢) بن زياد النيسابوري البزديغريّ (¬٣) أحد فقهاء أصحاب أبي حنيفة الزهاد.ذكره الحاكم في (تاريخ نيسابور) (¬١) وقال: سمعت أبا الطاهر (¬٢) بن أبي العباس بن أبي بكر بن إسحاق بن خزيمة، يقول: سمعت جدي محمد (¬٣) بن إسحاق يقول: كتب إلى أحمد بن إسماعيل بن أحمد باختيار قاضي نيسابور، فوقع اختياري بعد الاجتهاد على أربعة أحدهم محمد بن زياد، فحضرني كئيبا، قلقا من ذلك، وعاتبني فيه، وقال: ما الذي ظهر لك مني؟ ما الذي جنيت؟ حتى عاملتني بمثل هذا، فقلت يا أبا عبد الله، ما أردت إلا الخير، فلم يزل يبكي حتى رحمته. وضربت على اسمه. مات سنة/٤٥ ب/خمس وتسعين ومئتين.
