٣٧٤ - علي (¬٤) بن أحمد بن محمد بن سلامة الطحاوي روى عن أبيه، وتفقه عليه، روى: أنه بنى محمد بن عبد الله الخازن جامعا بالجيزة بأمر الأمير علي بن الإخشيد، فتقدم كافور إلى الخازن ببنائه، واحتاجوا إلى عمد للجامع، فمضى الخازن بالليل إلى كنيسة بأعمال الجيزة، فقلع عمدها، ونصببدلها أركانا، وحمل العمد إلى الجامع، فترك أبو الحسن الطحاوي الصلاة فيه إذ ذلك تورعا.
