    ٣٠٩ - عبد الله (¬٥) بن محمود بن مودود الملقب مجد الدين سمع من والده «أخلاق حملة القرآن» للآجري (¬٦)، ومن الشيخ شهاب الدين السهروردي، ومن أبي المجد الكرابيسي «رياضة المتعلمين» و «عمل اليوم والليلة» لأبن السني.سمع منه الحافظ الدمياطي. ومات سنة ثلاث وثمانين وست مئة ومن تصانيفه «المختار للفتوى»، وكتاب «الإختيار لتعليل المختار» (¬١) و «الكتاب المشتمل على مسائل المختصر». وقرأ على ابن الحاجب، ومحيي الدين العربي.
