٢٥٣ - سعد (¬٥) بن علي بن القاسم أبو المعالي الكتبي الحظيري. وكان أولا دلال الكتب، وصحب أبا منصورالجواليقي (¬١)، وابن الخشاب (¬٢) وغيرهما، حتى برع في الأدب. تفقه على مذهب أبي حنيفة، وطاف البلاد ورجع إلى بغداد، ومن تصانيفه كتاب «لمح الملح» جمع ما وقع فيه لغيره من الجناس نظما ونثرا، وكتاب «الإعجاز في الأحاجي والألغاز»، وكتاب «صفوة الصفوة» وهو نظم كله، وكتاب- «زينة الدهر» ذيله على «دمية القصر» وله ديوان شعر، وشعره كله مصنوع تقرأالقصيدة منه على عدة وجوه.
