    ١٣٥ - إسماعيل (¬٥) بن سعيد، أبو إسحاق، الطبري الأصل، الجرجاني يعرف بالشّالنجيّ (¬٦). سكن استراباذ، من أصحاب محمد بن الحسن روى عنه، وعن ابن عيينة، ويحيى القطان، وحدث بإستراباذ فحدث عن أهلها، وأهل جرجان.صنف في فضائل أبي بكر، وعمر، وعثمان، وعلي (رضى الله تعالى عنهم) قال السمعاني (¬١): إمام فاضل صنف كتبا في الفقه وغيره، وصنف كتاب «البيان» في الفقه، قيل إنه رد فيه على محمد بن الحسن، ويحكى كل مسألة ثم يرد. مات سنة ثلاثين ومئتين.
