٧١. أحمد (¬٢) بن محمد بن صاعد، أبو نصر الزينبي. قال: دخلت على المتوكل أمير المؤمنين وهو يمدح الرفق فأكثر في مدحه، فقلت: يا أمير المؤمنين، أنشدني الأصمعي بيتين فقال: هاتهما، فقلت: شعر (¬٣): لم أر مثل الرفق في لينه … قد أخرج العذراء من خدرها من يستعن بالرفق في أمره … يستخرج الحية من جحرها فقال: يا غلام، الدواة والقرطاس، فكتبهما بيده. مات سنة اثنتين وثمانين وأربع مئة.
