٤١. أحمد (¬٣) بن الحسين بن علي، أبو حامد المروزي. وعرف بابن الطبري تفقه على ابي الحسن الكرخي ببغداد، وعلى أبي القاسم الصفار ببلخ، وصنف الكتب، وله تاريخ بديع، كان أحد العباد المجتهدين والعلماء المتقنين، حافظا للحديث، بصيرا بالأثر، ودخل بغداد، وكتب الناس عنه بانتخاب الحافظ أبي الحسن الدارقطني، سكن ببخارى، ومات بها سنة سبع وسبعين وثلاث مئة.
