٣٣٢١- سفيان بن أبي زهير الأزديّ «٧» : من أزد شنوءة. قال ابن المديني وخليفة:اسم أبيه القرد، وقيل ابن نمير بن مرارة بن عبد اللَّه بن مالك، ويقال فيه النمريّ، لأنه من ولد النمر بن عثمان بن نصر بن زهران. نزل المدينة، وحديثه في البخاريّ من رواية عبد اللَّه بن الزبير عنه. وروى البخاريّ أيضا من طريق السّائب بن يزيد، عنه، قال: وهو رجل من أزد شنوءة من أصحاب النّبيّ ﷺ: «من اقتنى كلبا ... » الحديث.
