    ٢١٩٥ - (¬١) -[أبو محمد المزكي] ومنهم الفضل بن محمد بن عبيد بن محمد بن محمد بن مهدي المزكي الشيخ أبو محمد رجل معروف مشهور ثقة، من أهل بيت العدالة والصلاح والعفاف، وكان محترما عند ناصح الدولة الفندورجي ملحوظا منه بعين الاحترام. سمع الحديث الكثير من أبي منصور البغدادي وأبي حسّان قديما وأقرانه وسمع من مشايخ الطبقة الثانية كأبي حفص ابن مسرور وأبي الحسين عبد الغافر والطبقة. توفي في شهر رمضان سنة ست وخمس مئة.
