٤٦٤ - علي (¬٥) بن إسماعيل بن أبي العلاء الشافعى القواس، علاء الدين. توفي يوم الإثنين سادس صفر سنة ٧٣٦، وصُلِّي عليه من يومه بجامع دمشق، ودُفن بقاسيون. ومولده في ثامن عشري شهر رجب سنة ٦٣٦ (¬٦). سمع من ابن أبي اليُسر، والكرماني، وعلي (¬٧) بن الأوحد. وحدَّث.وله شعر وفضيلة.
