    ٤٤٤ - عثمان (¬٣) بن علي بن يحيى بن هبة الله بن إبراهيم بن المسلّم بن علي الأنصاري الشافعي، فخر الدين، أبو عمرو، عُرف بابن بنت أبي سعد. مولده بداريّا من ضواحي دمشق في حادي عشري شهر رجب سنة ٦٢٩. وتوفي في ليلة رابع عشري جمادى الآخرة سنة ٧١٩. سمع ابن مُضر، والكمال الضرير، وحدَّث، وأفتى، ودرَّس، وولي أمانة الحكم. حدَّث بـ "عوالي مالك" لابن صخر (¬٤)، عن الكمال، وبشيء من "صحيح مسلم" عن ابن مُضر. سمع عليه قاضي القضاة عز الدين، وقاضي القضاة موفق الدين "عوالي مالك" لابن صخر.
