٩٨ - أحمد (¬٤) بن محمد بن سلمان بن حمائل بن علي الجعفري المقدسي، ثم الدمشقي، عُرف بابن غانم. ولد بمكة سنة ٦٥٠. وتوفي سنة ٧٣٧ في شهر رمضان. سمع من ابن عبد الدايم، والنظام (¬٥) بن البانياسي، والزين خالد (¬٦)، وابن أبي اليُسر، وابن النُّشْبي. وله النظم والنثر، ثم تغيَّر، وفُلج، ونقص عقله. [حدثنا عنه البرهان (¬٧) الشامي بـ "الألفية لابن مالك". كتبه أحمد] (¬٨).
