٣٤ - أحمد (¬٤) بن حمود بن عمر بن حمود بن سلامة بن حممود بن هامل بن حمود بن سالم بن مسلم بن حمود الحراني، شهاب الدين، أبو العباس. مولده بحرَّان في يوم عاشوراء سنة ٦٥٢. وتوفي بكرة يوم السبت تاسع شهر ربيع الآخر سنة ٧٢٦، ودُفن بمقابر الصوفية بدمشق. سمع ابن عبد الدائم، وابن أبي اليسر، وطائفة، وحدَّث بـ "صحيح مسلم" وغيره.سمع منه العلائي (¬١)، وابن جماعة؛ سمع عليه قاضي القضاة، وولده عمر "منتقى الذهبي من مشيخة ابن عبد الدائم".
