    ٣ - أحمد (¬٥) بن إسماعيل بن علي الجبَّاب، فخر الدين، أبو الهدى. توفي في تاسع عشر شهر رمضان سنة ٧٢٠. ومولده في جمادى الآخرة سنة ٦٤٣ بمصر. سمع على السِّبط (¬٦) "جزء الذهلي" (¬٧)، والخامس والسادس والسابع أو التاسع من "المزكيات" (¬٨)وحدَّث بها، وسمع من الرَّشيد (¬١) العطَّار أيضًا. سمع عليه الشهاب ابن أيبك، ومحمود (¬٢) بن خليفة، وابن عبد الأحد (¬٣).
