    ٥٥٠ - علاء الدين أبو الحسن على بن الشيخ زين الدين المنجى عثمان بن أسعد بن المنجى التنوخى، بدمشق، ودفن بسفح قاسيون وكان مولده فى شعبان ستة ثلاث وسبعين وستمائة. وسمع الكثير من ابن البخارى، وأحمد بن شيبان، وخلق. وولى القضاء من سنة اثنتين وثلاثين بعد وفاة ابن الحافظ. وحدث بالكثير، قرأت عليه جزءا فيه الأحاديث التى رواها مسلم فى صحيحه عن الإمام أحمد بسماعه الصحيح من أبى عبد الله محمد بن عبد السلام بن أبى عصرون، بإجازته من المؤيد.
