    ٤١٨ - محمد بن عبد الولى بن جبارة بن عبد الولى المقدسى، الفقيه تقى الدين. سمع بدمشق من أبى القاسم بن صصرى وغيره، وببغداد من أبى الحسن القطيعى وطبقته. وكان فاضلا متقنا صالحا. وهو والد الشيخ شهاب الدين أحمد ابن جبارة الآتى ذكره إن شاء الله تعالى. توفى فى ذى الحجة سنة ثلاث وثمانين وستمائة بسفح قاسيون. ودفن به رحمه الله تعالى.

    ٤٥٨ - محمد بن عبد الولى بن أبى محمد بن حولان، البعلى، التاجر وكان مولده سنة أربع وأربعين وستمائة. سمع من الشيخ الفقيه، ومن ابن عبد الدائم، وجماعة. وقرأ ونظر فى علوم الحديث. وقال الذهبى: سمعت منه ببعلبك والمدينة، وتبوك. وكان من خيار الناس وعلمائهم، وألّف كتابا سماه «العدة القوية فى اللغة التركية» جوده، وذكره فى معجمه. وقال: كان مقرئا فقيها، محدثا متقنا، صالحا عدلا، ملازما للتحصيل، كل يثنى عليه ببلده.
