    ٢٤٧ - عبد المحسن بن يعيش بن إبراهيم بن يحيى الحرانى الفقيه أبو محمد. سمع بحران من أبى ياسر عبد الوهاب بن أبى حبة. ورحل إلى بغداد سنة أربع وتسعين، فسمع من ابن كليب. وأبى الجوزى وطبقتهما، وقرأ المذهب والخلاف حتى تميز. وأقام ببغداد مدة، ثم عاد إلى حران فأقام بها، ثم قدم بغداد حاجّا سنة عشر وستمائة، وحدث بها عن ابن أبى حبة وسمع منه بعض الطلبة. ورجع إلى حران. فتوفى بها سنة إحدى عشرة وستمائة. وكان شابا ﵀. ذكره ابن النجار.
