    ١٨٦ - بدل بن أبى طاهر بن شيرد شهر بن حاكاه بن عبد الله بن محمد الجيلى، الفقيه المقرئ أبو محمد. نزيل بغداد. قرأ القرآن بالروايات على أبى العلاء الهمدانى. وسمع من أبى الفتح محمد بن الحسن الصيدلانى، وغيره. وسمع من محمد بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن الخطيب الكشميهنى المروزى. وتفقه ببغداد على ابن بكروس، وأقرأ الناس، وحدث. قرأ عليه بالروايات الكثيرة أبو عبد الله محمد بن أحمد بن الحسن الدورى، وغيره. وسمع منه القاضى أبو العباس بن الفراء، وغيره. وتوفى يوم الخميس رابع عشر ذى الحجة سنة تسع وثمانين وخمسمائة. رحمه الله تعالى.
