    ١٧٣ - على بن عكبر بن عبد الله، أبو الحسين الضرير المقرئ الأزجى الفقيه قرأ القرآن، وسمع الحديث الكثير من ابن ناصر، وابن البطى، وغيرهما. وتفقه على أبى حكيم النهروانى. وقرأ عليه القرآن جماعة، وكان يحفظ طرفا من المذهب. وكان من أهل الدين والصلاح. ذكره ابن النجار عن أبى العباس بن الفراء، وأنه قال: توفى ليلة الأربعاء عاشر شوال سنة اثنتين وثمانين وخمسمائة. ودفن بباب حرب إلى جانب شيخه أبى حكيم. رحمهما الله تعالى.
