(٢٨٢ - عتيق بن محمد الدّمامينىّ (¬**)) عتيق بن محمد بن سليمان (¬٦) المخزومىّ الدّمامينىّ، ينعت بالتّاج، سمع الحديثواشتغل بالفقه بقوص، وحفظ «التّنبيه (¬١)» واستوطن الإسكندريّة، وانتهت إليه رياستها. وكان ذكيّا كثير العطاء، وله مشاركة فى التّاريخ والأدب، وبنى مدرسة بالمرجانيين (¬٢) بالثّغر، ووقف أوقافا كثيرة، ولمّا قدمت الثّغر أضافنى وأهدى إلىّ وأحسن، جزاه الله الحسنى. توفّى بمصر فى أواخر جمادى الآخرة سنة إحدى وثلاثين وسبعمائة.
