(١٤٦ - الحسين بن أبى بكر السبتىّ القوصىّ (¬*)) الحسين بن أبى بكر بن عياض بن موسى، السّبتىّ المحتد، القوصىّ المولد، ينعت بالمعين، فقيه عالم فاضل، اشتغل بالفقه على مذهب الشّافعىّ على الشّيخ مجد (¬٤) الدّين أبى الحسن القشيرىّ، وقرأ الأصول على الشّيخ شمس الدّين محمد بن محمود الأصبهانىّ قاضى قوص، وأجازه بالفتوى. وتولّى الإعادة (¬٥) بالمدرسة النّجمية بأسوان، واختصر «تفسير» (¬٦) الثّعلبىّ اختصاراحسنا، وعنه أخذ طلبة أسوان فى زمنه، وأقام فيها إلى أن توفّى بها فى سنة اثنين (¬١) وثمانين وستّمائة.
