(٧٢ - أحمد بن محمد بن سلطان القوصىّ (¬*)) أحمد بن محمد بن سلطان القوصىّ، ينعت بالفتح، سمع الحديث من الشّيخ بهاء الدّين ابن بنت الجمّيزى (¬١) واشتغل بالفقه على الشّيخ أبى الحسن علىّ (¬٢) بن وهب القشيرىّ، وعلى نجم الدّين بن علىّ (¬٣) الحموىّ، وتولّى وكالة بيت المال بالأعمال القوصيّة، وكان من رؤساء قوص وأعيان عدولها. توفّى بها يوم الجمعة حادى عشر المحرّم سنة أربع وسبعمائة، وكان فقيها كثير المطالعة للنّهاية (¬٤).
