٤٨٠ - علي بن عبد الله بن موسى بن طاهر الغفاري: سرقسطي أبو الحسن البرجي (٢) ؛ تلا بالسبع على أبي المطرف بن الوراق، وروى عن أبوي عبد الله: ابن ملحان وابن الخراز، وتادب به، وأبي علي بن سكرة وأبي محمد بن السيد. روى عنه أبو بكر يحيى بن إبراهيم التغلبي وأبوالحسن بن عبد العزيز بن مسعود وأبو مروان بن الصقيل. وكان لغوياً اديباً، ذا حظ صالح من رواية الحديث، بارع الخط أنيق الوراقة نبيل التقييد متقن الضبط، كتب بخطه الرائق الكثير وجوده، وأقرأ ببلده في حياة شيخه ابن الوراق، وتجول في أقطار الأندلس، واستقر بأخرة في وادي آش وأقرأ بها وذبح بها سنة خمس أو ست وثلاثين وخمسمائة (١) .
