    ٣٤٥ - علي بن أحمد بن محمد بن أبي القاسم (١) : إشبيلي نزل دمشق، أبو الحسن القسطار؛ رحل وحج وتجول بلاد المشرق طالباً العلم فكتب ببغداد ودمشق وغيرهما عن طائفة كبيلارة منهم: آباء الحسن: علي بن محمد السخاوي ومحمد بن أبي جعفر القرطبي الفنكي وأبن المقير، وأبو عمرو عثمان بن عبد الرحمن أبن الصلاح وبو محمد عبد الرحمن أبن إبراهيم بن أحمد المقدسي وأبو المفضل مكرم بن محمد بن أبي الصقر القرشي وأبو نصر محمد بن هبة الله بن مميل الشيرازي وأبو المنجا عبد الله بن عمر اللتي آخر أصحاب أبي الوقت وغيرهم. وكان من أهل العناية بالرواية والضبط والتقييد والإتقان، وتوفي بدمشق في نحو الأربعين وستمائة.
