٣٩ - عبد الملك بن عبد الله بن بدرون الحضرمي (٢) : شلبي أبو القاسم؛ روى عن طائفة من شيوخ بلده؛ روى عنه أبو عبد الله ابن الصفار الضرير، وحدث عنه بالإجازة أبو الخطاب بن خليل، وكان كاتباً بليغاً حسن الخط جيد الضبط، من أهل العناية التامة بالآداب، تاريخياً ذاكراً نبيلاً، وشرحه قصيدة أبي محمد عبد المجيد بن عبدون في رثاء المتوكل [٥ ظ] على الله أبي بكر عمر بن محمد بن مسلمة التجيبي ابن الأفطس المسمى: " كمامة الزهر وصدفة الدرر " (٣) شاهد بنبله ومعرفته بأيام الناس وإشرافه على حوادث الزمان، وكان حياً سنة ثمان وستمائة وتوفي بشلب.
