[٩٣٦] يحيى بن يحيى بن عبد الله، أبو زكريا المحسودي (¬١) البخاري. قال الحاكم: إمام أهل الحديث في عصره ببخارى وابن إمامها، سمع بخراسان علي بن محتاج وأبا جعفر بن الجوزجاني وعبد الله بن محمد بن يعقوب، وبالعراق إسماعيل بن محمد الصفار. ورد نيسابور متفقهًا سنة تسع وثلاثين، ثم انصرف من العراق وأقام مدة، ثم وردها بعد ذلك رسولًا من السلطان، ومات ببخارى في صفر سنة أربع وثمانين وثلاثمائة، وأُغلقت الحوانيت بوفاته.
