[٦٩١] محمد بن الحسين بن [محمد بن الحسين بن يحيى] (¬٤) الفقيه، أبو عمر (¬٥) البسطامي.[ي] قال الحاكم: الفقيه المتكلم البارع الواعظ أبو عمر بن أبي سعيد البسطامي، سمع بأصبهان أبا القاسم سليمان بن أحمد اللخمي وأقرانه، وبالعراق أبا بكر بن مالك وأبا محمد بن ماسي وأقرانهما، وسمع بالبصرة والأهواز. [ي ص ش] ورد له العهد بقضاء نيسابور، وقرئ علينا العهد غداة الخميس الثالث من ذي القعدة سنة ثمان وثلاثين وثلاثمائة، وأُجلس في مجلس القضاء في مسجد رحا (¬١) في تلك الساعة، وأظهر أهلُ الحديث من الفرح والاستبشار والثناء (¬٢) ما يطول شرحه، وكتبنا بالدعاء والشكر إلى السلطان أيّده الله وإلى أوليائه (¬٣).
