[٦٩٠] محمد بن الحسين بن محمد، أبو الفضل القاضي، المعروف بالحدادي، النيسابوري. [ب مض] [ت س] قال الحاكم: كان يتولى الحكومة عن القضاة بمرو وبخارى، وكان فقيهًا فاضلًا من أصحاب الرأي، سمع محمد بن علي بن إبراهيم الحافظ وإسحاق بن إبراهيم التاجر وعبد الله بن محمود السعدي وحماد بن أحمد السلمي وغيرهم. كان شيخ أهل مرو في الحفظ والحديث والتصوف والقضاء في عصره، وتوفي في المحرم أو صفر (¬٢) من سنة ثمان وثمانين وثلاثمائة. [ب] وتوفي وهو ابن مائة وسبع سنين (¬٣). [س] وقد ولي قضاء نيسابور قبل الخمسين وثلاثمائة.
