[٦٢٩] محمد بن أحمد بن الحسن بن سيد الجرجاني، أبو بكر الورّاق. قال الحاكم: سمع أبا يعقوب البحري إسحاق بن إبراهيم، وعبد الله بن عدي الحافظ بجرجان، ومحمد بن عبد الله الصّفّار، ومحمد بن يعقوب الأصمبنيسابور. ما رأيت ورّاقًا أسرع يدًا منه، ولا أصحَّ خطًّا منه، لكنه تغيّر بآخرة وخلط. توفي سنة ثلاث وثمانين وثلاثمائة.
