[٥٦١] محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن الحسين المعاذي [٤٨/ أ]، أبو الحسن الأديب النيسابوري.[ب] قال الحاكم: شيخ المعاذية في وقته وأكبر الأخوة، وكان من آدب أهل البيوتات في عصره. سمع أبا عبد الله محمد بن إبراهيم البوشنجي وإبراهيم بن علي الذهلي وإبراهيم بن أبي طالب وأقرانهم، وخرّجت له الفوائد، وحدّث قبل وفاته بسنة. [ب ت] وتوفي في رجب من سنة اثنتين وخمسين وثلاثمائة؛ وهو ابن ثلاث وثمانين سنة.
