[٤٦٠] عمر بن محمد بن مسعود الفقيه، أبو حفص الإسفراييني. [ص كث] قال الحاكم: تفقه عند أبي إسحاق المروزي، وسمع "المسند" من الحسن بن سفيان النَّسوي، وسمع من أقرانه بخراسان، وبالعراق من أبي القاسم البغوي وأقرانه، وحدّث. وكان من الصالحين، وجاور في مسجد الحسن بن يعقوب في نيسابور برهةً من دهره يورّق، توفي بإسفرايين سنة خمس وأربعين وثلاثمائة.
