[٤١٩] عبد الرحمن بن علي بن محمد بن يحيى بن عبد الرحمن، أبو الفضل التميمي النيسابوري، وكان من وجوه نيسابور ثروة وشهامة ومروءة. قال الحاكم: هو ابن أبي الحسن بن أبي عبد الرحمن بن منينة الولد الثالث، وكان من وجوه نيسابور وأعيان المشايخ ثروة وشهامة ومروءة. سمع أبا بكر عبد الله بن محمد بن مسلم الإسفراييني وأبا بكر محمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة الإمام وغيرهما. كنتُ قد تكنيت بأبي أحمد وأبي الفضل للوحشة القائمة بينهما، فمرة كنت أتوسَّط ومرة آيس من صلحهما رحمة الله عليهما، وتوفي في شعبان من سنة ستين وثلاثمائة.
