[ب ق] سمع أبا بكر محمد بن حمدون بن خالد، وأبا حامد بن الشرقي، وأقرانهما، وخرّج الفوائد، وحدّث من أصول صحيحة. توفي بالنهروان متوجهًا إلى الحج لثلاث (¬٣) بقين من شوَّال سنة إحدى وتسعين وثلاثمائة.
