[٣٧٣] عبد الله بن محمد بن محمد (¬٣) بن حمويه بن عباد، أبو القاسم بن أبي بكر الطهماني.قال الحاكم: سمع إسماعيل بن قتيبة، والكجي، وطبقتهما. وهو واهي الحديث. توفي سنة أربع وأربعين وثلاثمائة. [حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن حَمُّوَيه بن عباد، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا أحمد بن حفص، حدثنا عمر بن سعيد بن وردان، حدثنا نهشل بن سعيد، عن الضحَّاك، عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "الغُدُوُّ والرواح في تعلّم العلمِ أفضل عند الله من الجهاد في سبيل الله ﷿"] (¬١).
