    [٢١١] الحسن (¬١) بن أحمد بن الحسن بن موسى القاضي، أبو علي البيهقي. قال الحاكم: القاضي أبو علي البيهقي الأديب الفقيه، كان من أعيان فقهائنا، ولي قضاء نيسابور وغيرها من المدن بخراسان، وكان إخباريًّا؛ سمع بنيسابور أبا بكر بن خزيمة وأبا العباس السّرّاج، وببغداد يحيى بن محمد بن صاعد وأبا حامد محمد بن هارون الحضرمي، وطبقتهم، وتوفي ببيهق في سنة تسع وخمسين وثلاثمائة.
