[١١١] أحمد بن محمد بن شيرك (¬١) الفقيه، أبو حامد الشافعي الهروي، مفتي هراة في عصره. [ش] قال الحاكم: مفتي هراة في عصره، وكان من الأدباء المذكورين. [ت س ش] وكان حسن الحديث. [ش] ورد نيسابور سنة ثلاث وخمسين وثلاثمائة على أن يخرج إلى الحج، وكان أبو عبد الله بن أبي ذهل الرئيس بنيسابور، فمنعه من الخروج وقال للسلطان: إن خرج هذا الشيخ من هراة ظهرت غيبته على السلطان والرعية. فأقام بنيسابور مدة ثم انصرف إلى هراة. [ت س ش] توفي بهراة سنة خمس وخمسين وثلاثمائة.
