[١٠٨] أحمد بن محمد بن معقل السرخسي، أبو عمرو الكاتب، نزيل مزينان. قال الحاكم: سمع بسرخس أبا لبيد محمد بن إدريس الشامي، وببغداد أبا بكر عبد الله بن أبي داود السجستاني، وأبا عبد الله أحمد بن الحسن بن عبد الجبار الصوفي، وغيرهم. كان إذا قدم نزل على أبي أحمد الحسين بن علي التميمي، وكانت وفاته بمزينان سنة اثنتين وخمسين وثلاثمائة.
