[٩٤] أحمد بن محمد بن عبدوس بن حاتم الفقيه، أبو الحسن الحاتمي.[ب ش] قال الحاكم: كان من علماء الشافعيين، وسمع الحديث الكثير بخراسان والعراق والحجاز، ودرَّس بمكة. توفي يوم الجمعة، وقت الخطبة، لست مضين من شهر رمضان، سنة خمس وثمانين وثلاثمائة، وكان والده حيًّا، وضعف عن المشي إلى المقبرة. وكان أبو الحسن حين مات ابن تسع وأربعين سنة. [ب ش] وهو عالم من علماء المسلمين، أديب، فقيه، كاتب، حاسب، أصولي. [ش] وسمعته يقول: سمعت أبا زيد الفقيه يقول: رأيتُ رسولَ الله ﷺ وأنا بمكة في المنام، كأنه يقول لجبريل ﵇: "يا روح الله، اصطحبه إلى وطنه".
