    الحاكم بأمر الله العباسي أحمد بن الحسن، الإمام الحاكم بأمر الله أبو العباس ابن الأمير أبي علي الحسن ابن أبي بكر بن علي بن أمير المؤمنين، المسترشد بالله العباسي البغدادي. قدم مصر، ونهض ببيعته الملك الظاهر بيبرس الصالحي، وبويع له سنة إحدى وستين وستمائة، وخطب بالناس، وكان ملازماً لداره، فيه عقل وشجاعة وديانة، وله راتب يكفيه من غير سرف. امتدت أيامه، وعهد بالخلافةإلى ولده المستكفي بالله أبي (١) الربيع سليمان، وتوفي سنة إحدى وسبعمائة، وهو في عشر الثمانين وكانت خلافته أربعين سنة، ولم يكن له من الخلافة غير الخطبة والسكة. ٣٠ - (٢)
