٣١٦١ - العلاء بْن الحارث أَبُو وهب الدمشقي الحضرمي، نسبِهِ زَيْد بْن حباب عَنْ مُعَاوِيَة بْن صَالِحٍ، كناه يَحْيَى بْن حمزة، قَالَ عبد الله ابن صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَة عَنِ العلاء بْن الحارث: عَنْ مكحول قال:دخلت على واثلة بْن الأسقع ﵁ فقلنا له: يا أَبَا الأسقع! حَدَّثَنَا فَقَالَ: حسبكم إذا جئناكم بالحديث على المعبر ١ وَقَالَ ابْن العلاء بْن كثير عَنْ مكحول عَنْ واثلة - رفعه، ولا يصح لأن العلاء بْن كثير مكر الْحَدِيث، قَالَ ابْن بكير: مات العلاء بْن الحارث سنة ست وثلاثين ومائة، يَرْوِي [عَنْ] ٢ عَمْرو بْن شعيب والقاسم وحزام بْن حكيم وزيد بْن أرطاة.
