    ٨٤٩٤- ميمون بن حريز: بفتح أوله وكسر الراء وآخره زاي منقوطة، ابن حجر بن زرعة بن عمرو بن يزيد بن عمرو بن ذي شمر الحميريّ. له إدراك، ذكر الرشاطيّ في كتاب الأنساب ما يدلّ على ذلك، وذكره حفيده محمد ابن أبان بن ميمون، وقال: إنه ولد في خلافة معاوية سنة خمسين من الهجرة، وعاش مائة وخمسة وسبعين عاما، قال: وكان فصيحا شجاعا كريما حسن الجوار شديد العارضة، وأنشد له: ولقد علمت قضاعة أنّني ... جريء لدى الكرّات لا أتدرّع أخوض برمحي غمر كلّ كتيبة ... إذا الخيل من وقع القنا تتقلّع [الطويل]
