    ٩٧٥ - ربيعة بْن زرارة أَبُو الحلال العتكي الْبَصْرِيّ، سمع عثمان ابن عفان، قَالَ أَحْمَد حدثنا عُبَيْد اللَّه بْن ثور بْن عون بْن أَبِي الحلال العتكي قَالَ أَبُو الحلال زرارة بْن ربيعة، وقال قتيبة حدثنا هشيم عَنْ زرارة بْن ربيعة (١) عَنْ أَبِيه عَنْ عثمان فِي " أمرك بيدك ". القضاء ما قضت، قَالَ ابْن يحيى حدثنا عُبَيْد اللَّه بْن ثور بْن أَبِي الحلال العتكىحدثنا مهلب بن بكر بن حازم ابن اخى جرير بن حازم عن الفضل ابن المؤتمر (١) العتكي عَنْ أَبِي الحلال: أدركت أهل بيتي وهم يعبدون الحجارة، وقال عُبَيْد اللَّه: مات وهو ابن عشرين ومائة.
