٢٦٧ - حيي (٢) بْن هانئ أَبُو قبيل المعافرى، سمع عبد الله ابن عَمْرو وعقبة بْن عامر، سَمِعَ منه الليث ويحيى بْن أيوب الْمَصْرِيّ، قَالَ عَمْرو بْن خَالِد وَحدثنا ضمام بْن إِسْمَاعِيل عَنْ أَبِي قبيل قَالَ: قتل عثمان وأنا غلام باليمن، وقال يحيى بْن بكير: مات سنة ثمان وعشرين ومائة. حدثنا سَعِيد بْن تليد قَالَ حدثنا ضمام عَنْ أَبِي قبيل حيي بْن هانئ.
