(٧٣٢) ومنهم: أمامة (¬٦) بنت محرّث بن زيد (¬٧) بن ثعلبة بن عبيد (¬٨). وأمها: سلمى بنت أبي الدحداح، صاحب العذق المذلل في الجنة، واسم أبي الدحداح: ثابت بن الدحداح، ويقال: ابن الدحداحة، من قضاعة، ثم من بلي، حليف: بني زيد بن مالك بن عوف بن عمرو بن عوف بن مالك بن الأوس (¬٩).تزوج أمامة: النّعمان (¬١) بن الطفيل بن مالك بن خنساء بن سنان بن عبيد. ثم خلف عليها ابن عمها: الضحاك بن حارثة بن زيد بن ثعلبة بن عبيد، فولدت له: يزيد. أسلمت أمامة، وبايعت رسول الله ﷺ.
