(٦٧٣) أبو شباث (¬١) -بضم الشين المعجمة وآخره ثاء مثلثة-واسمه: خديج بن سلامة بن أوس (¬٢) بن عمرو بن كعب (¬٣) بن* [١١٠/ب] *القراقر (¬٤) بن الضحيان، من قضاعة، ثم من بلي (¬٥). حليف: لبني حرام بن كعب بن غنم بن كعب بن سلمة (¬٦). كان قديم الإسلام، شهد: العقبة الثانية، ولم يشهد بدرا، ولا أحدا، وشهد ما بعد ذلك. حكاه: النمري (¬٧)، عن الطبري، قال: ويكنى أبا رشيد. قلت: وكان معه ليلة العقبة امرأته: أم منيع بنت عمرو بن عديّ بن سنان بن نابئ بن عمرو بن سواد بن غنم بن كعب بن سلمة، وكانت من المبايعات، فولدت له ليلة العقبة: شباثا (¬٨). ***
