(٥٩٥) وابن عمها: نهيك (¬٦) بن أوس (¬٧) بن خزمة بن عديّ بن أبي بن غنم (¬٨). حليف: لبني عبد الأشهل. شهد: أحدا، والمشاهد كلها مع رسول الله ﷺ. وأرسله رسول الله ﷺ إلى المدينة يبشرهم بفتح الله حنينا، وهزيمة هوازن (¬٩). وبعثه أبو بكر ﵁ إلى زياد بن لبيد بأرض اليمن، يأمره أن يستبقي أهل النجير (¬١٠)، وقدم عليه ليلا وقد قتل في أول النهار منهم سبعمائة، في صعيد واحد.قال نهيك: فما شبهته إلا بيوم قريظة، وبعث زياد بالسبي، وثمانين من بني قتيرة (¬١)، فيهم الأشعث بن قيس، مع نهيك إلى أبي بكر، فأنزلهم دار رملة بنت الحارث (¬٢). هؤلاء: بنو غنم بن عوف* [٩٤/ب] *بن عمرو بن عوف بن الخزرج. ***
